Just wow! Happened to be in the area and did a google search for restaurants. Was a little wary because it seems like we are in the middle of nowhere, but everything was great from the service to the food. Very friendly people and the southern/souls food was very well seasoned. I had the meatloaf and macaroni and cheese and it was fantastic. Others in the group had chicken, sweet potatoes and okra soup. They all said “this is really good”.

Third time’s a CHARM! As always the food is southern comfort for the soul. The lasagna was a tasty treat...warm and bubbly with lots of cheese. This is the only place where I can eat only the skin off the fried Buckshot’s I’ll be back real soon!!! ...

We had a group of 40 to eat there, and EVERYONE enjoyed the food. Service was excellent and very accommodating. Nice down home atmosphere and the people are very friendly.

We loved everything about this little family place. The food, the atmosphere (homey), and delightful staff. 5 stars!

Just visit this place. Dine in. Enjoy the buffet. And leave with a full tummy. From the rice with gravy to their dessert, everything is awesome! The southern style cuisine surely lives in here. Meatballs was a bomb. I want to go back and get more haha. And for the price of less than 15 bucks for a buffet, that sure is a unbeatable. The place is clean. The southern smile is there. Parking is fine. It's one of those places that you really need to research and find and eat. Terrific visit!

A hidden gem.. if you're heading that way, stop in for good old tyme soul food. Oh yeah, don't drive so fast or you might miss it....April Bertha's restaurant ain't got nothing on you.

This family owned soul food & seafood restaurant is a spot Guy should visit. It's opened Tuesday - Sunday. It's a long distance drive for me, but the food never disappoints, especially their Sunday buffet that ends by 3:30. And this sweet potatoes treats are the best!

Chef April and her amazing team of woman did the most incredible job catering for our event on Friday. Not only was she a breeze to work with, but her Geechee Boudin Balls with collards and creamy crayfish sauce were absolutely amazing! I could not recommend this business more. Thank you, Chef!
